Our Journey
A brief overview of how we expanded our reach from a local business to a national presence

1998
OHM’s journey begins as brothers Vinod and Ghanshyam Patel launch The Great American Bagel at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL), operating as Deli Enterprises.
2002
A second Great American Bagel unit opens at STL, signaling early proof of concept and scalability.

2004
Introduces The Pasta House, a St. Louis institution, bringing a local dining experience into the terminal.
2008
Acquires and converts two STL restaurants
into Dunkin’, marking OHM’s entry into branded national franchises.


2009
Launches Great Wraps at STL, further diversifying its quick-service offering.
2010
Expands beyond Missouri with three Dunkin’ restaurants at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), marking the company’s first out-of-state airport operation.


2012
Milan Patel acquires full ownership and rebrands the company as Outstanding Hospitality Management (OHM), ushering in a new era of strategic growth. OHM joins a joint venture with Hudson Group and Newburns Management Group to operate 14 retail units at STL, under a 10-year contract approved by the St. Louis Airport Commission.
2013
Milan builds a team of airport F&B professionals to lay the foundation for national expansion and long-term positioning.


2014
Enters Indianapolis International Airport (IND), acquiring and rebranding three units. Wins its first full-terminal food & beverage contract at Pensacola International Airport (PNS), taking over the airport’s entire concessions program.
2015
Awarded key contracts at Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA), Washington Dulles (IAD), and Orlando International (MCO), cementing OHM’s presence in high-volume markets. Opens &pizza at DCA and launches multiple new brands at PNS, significantly increasing per-passenger spend. Debuts Bracket Room Sports Lounge & Eatery at IAD. Expands into Boston Logan (BOS) with Currito and La Baguette Marche in Terminal A.


2016
Adds contracts at Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP), Philadelphia (PHL), and additional units at BOS. Recognized as “Best DBE Operator” by Airport Revenue News. Opens DC-3, Green Beans Coffee, Bracket Room, and Good Stuff Eatery by Chef Spike Mendelsohn across IAD and DCA.
2017
Wins new concessions at Indianapolis (IND), Atlantic City (ACY), Albany (ALB), and secures a spot in the redevelopment of Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).


2018
Receives second “Best DBE Operator” award from Airport Revenue News, reinforcing its reputation for operational excellence.
2019
Expands westward, opening Beans & Brews and Gourmandise at SLC — its first contract west of the Mississippi. Brings St. Louis-based Urban Chestnut Brewing Company to STL, spotlighting OHM’s commitment to local brands Forms a joint venture with Hudson Group and EnRoute Spa to operate nine retail units at IND Hudson Group announces plans to acquire a controlling interest in OHM.


2020
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Hudson withdraws from the acquisition. Despite industrywide disruptions, OHM maintains operations across all airports and continues opening new units, showing resilience and adaptability.
2021
Kansas City Council awards a 15-year, $1.5B concessions contract to Vantage Airport Group, OHM, and Marshall Retail Group to operate 22 F&B restaurants in the new terminal at Kansas City International Airport (MCI).


2022
Wins Phase 2 of SLC’s terminal redevelopment, adding Protein Bar & Kitchen, Wow Bao, and Blue Iguana to its portfolio. Launches the Made for KC BBQ Championship, a first-of-its-kind local competition giving pitmasters a chance to earn a presence in the terminal
2023
Opens all 22 F&B concepts at the new MCI terminal, showcasing a mix of national favorites and local Kansas City brands.


2024
Introduces The TAP, an Indianapolis-based microbrewery, at IND Concourse B. Wins two Airport Experience News Awards: Brown & Loe – Best Casual Dining (Medium/Small Airports). Kansas City BBQ Experience – Best Local-Inspired Restaurant (Medium/Small Airports). SLC awards OHM three new restaurants opening in 2026: Mr. Charlie’s Chicken Fingers, Moochie’s, and Swig.
2025
Launches a collaborative concept between 4 Hands Brewery and Peacemaker Lobster & Crab at STL Terminal 2. Acquires Rockwell Ice Cream, Hugo Coffee, and P.F. Chang’s at SLC, becoming the largest food & beverage operator at Salt Lake City International Airport.
